    Business Development Analyst will successfully analyze business opportunities/ intelligence and support the growth strategies and business initiatives of Pairwise.  The Business Development/ Intelligence Group resides within the office of the CBO and the position will report directly to the Officer. The individual must demonstrate the ability to create financial models, conduct market and other technical analyses with a focus on developing logical approaches to business problems with a keen attention to detail. The role will provide broad exposure to business and operational areas as well as senior leadership visibility via the generation of top-tier market intelligence. 

     
     

    Qualifications

    • Required: Bachelors; MBA preferred. 
    • 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting/ venture capital or agriculture BD/ BI role
    • Concurrently deliver on portions of multiple strategy projects in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment
    • Effective in data gathering, able to work in an unstructured environment, strong communication skills and able to build partnerships internally and externally
    • Versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure and able to solve problems
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint: 5 years
    • Business/Sales/Strategy/Procurement analyst or Management Consulting experience: 3 years

    Responsibilities

    • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/ existing partners
    • Support the development of business plans and/ or financial models for strategic initiatives
    • Become a subject matter expert on Pairwise’s market space, competitors, and future products/ categories
    • Collect and classify gathered intelligence; create reports and briefings (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
    • Report data across groups, functions, or product categories which may influence business strategies, budgets or goals
    • Build market data and financial (including, public and private financing transactions) databases to facilitate robust analytics
    • Help assess potential investments, strategic partnerships, and/or licensing arrangements that help realize strategies
    • Support senior Leaders on long range planning projects and ad hoc requests
